We’re Rosemary and Adrian and we run Pigs on Spits.
We are a husband and wife team farming 200 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside just outisde Monmouth.
The meat for our roasts comes from our own animals. We breed a small number of rare-breed saddleback pigs, currently six sows and a boar. The offspring of these sows are the ones used for our roasts. They live out in the summer and love the harvest time when they can go in our crop fields foraging for food left behind by the combine harvester!
Succulent slow-cooked pork tastes fantastic. Our meat is part-cooked in a mobile hog roaster for a minimum of seven hours before arrival at your venue. We then finish the cooking in front of your guests, treating them to the wonderful smell of roasting pork. All servers wear chef whites at your function, meat will be served hot and traditionally carved.
